Everything’s Coming Up Roses for Bianca After Successful Business Sale

When the time came to sell her online business, Bianca Evans decided to get some professional help. However, when she saw how much some business brokers charged, she was shocked.

“I did not want or need to spend $10,000-plus for assistance in selling such a small, home-based business,” she said.
“When I came across Coast to Coast’s marketing-only package, I knew it was the perfect option for me. Having my listing posted on several business sale websites for a cheaper price than I could have done on my own, plus handling the enquiries myself, was what I was looking for.

“The team was responsive and helpful with my queries and, after a successful marketing campaign, we got 28 enquiries!”

Bianca launched online florist business, Luxe Blooms, in 2016.

“Growing up, I always wanted to own my own business. I saw the rose box arrangements interstate and thought that could be something I’d be able to do myself from home quite easily,” she said.

“Having an online store was ideal as it meant it didn’t require myself or an employee sitting in a store front all day. I was 20-years-old when I started Luxe Blooms and wasn’t ready for full-time work yet!”

Luxe Blooms attracted buyers looking for a well set-up and proven online business. And Bianca should be immensely proud as she created the business herself.

“I had never done this before. I created everything myself from scratch, including the website, thanks to a lot of online tutorials and research!

“I’m a home-body and working my own hours from home sounded like a dream to my 20-year-old self! I also think it makes more sense for a business like a flower delivery service to be online-only as, unlike a clothing store, customers do not need to physically try things on.

“Although you may lose a few walk-in customer sales, I believe not having to pay for shop rent, bills and staff greatly outweighs this, making an online business a great choice.”

She believes eCommerce websites have a strong future.

“I definitely think eCommerce sites are going to continue to grow and take over walk-in stores. There will always be some things people prefer to buy in-store, but the convenience of online shopping is unbeatable, especially this year with COVID.

Bianca describes the service she received from Coast to Coast Magazine as ‘prompt, friendly and convenient’.

“I would definitely recommend Coast to Coast to others wanting to sell their business. It is a very hassle-free process and your listing is advertised in all the appropriate places.
